About Our Hosting Servers
Our
Hosting servers are some of the newest servers on the market today and are more
than capable of keeping up with the ongoing improvements to the security of
a servers activity and the ever increasing availability of software that puts
the servers capability to the test.
The Hub Server platform is designed in such a way that if any server fails another
server automatically and without delay takes over that servers workload. For
example if one of our mail servers were to break down, another server would
automatically come online, with all the correct configuration and take over
the work of the failed server, in this period no email would be lost.
As well as this, all data is stored in two large network disk arrays, data is
automatically synchronised between the arrays so that in the event of an array
failing the remaining array continues to serve data to the servers with no downtime.
Our
Servers use one of the most integrated web hosting and domain name platforms
in the world,. We don't operate separate systems or brands for our domain name
or web hosting business, meaning that all our systems are tightly integrated.

World Class Data Centre Facilities
The data centre offers a secure, resilient
environment for our web hosting platform. Based in a secure facility the data
centre is built to an N+1 specification, so that if any particular service
fails - e.g. electricity or air conditioning - another backup service automatically
takes over the failed service's job.
Dual power feeds enter the building at different
points and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) ensure that all power to the
server area is clean and spike free. In the event of a power outage the UPS
can take the entire data centre load for up to five minutes. However within
20 seconds our redundant generators are able to indefinitely take on the entire
data centre load.
Our
systems utilise the latest Redhat server technology to allow our servers to
be continually up to date with Redhat system & security patches.
